S&P BSE Sensex 50 Contract records new high turnover of Rs. 40717 Crores on the Weekly Expiry Day

BSE Derivatives segment has been witnessing consistent and progressive growth in its turnover since introduction of unique contract of Monday Expiry on S&P BSE Sensex 50 Weekly Futures & Options Contracts.  On its Monday Expiry, BSE Equity Derivatives turnover reached a new high of Rs. 40717 Cr, reflecting the acceptance of the unique concept of Monday Expiry for Weekly contracts by market participants.

Commenting on the new record high, Shri Sameer Patil, Chief Business Officer, BSE, said, “We appreciate interest shown by market participants in our unique product offering of Weekly contract with Monday expiry and BSE thanks all its members and stakeholders for their continuous support and looks forward to achieving more milestones in the coming days.”
